In an unhealthy relationship, you donot feel good about eachother and yourself. Your working efficiency reduces. Not all unhealthy relationships are violent but they can end up with verbal, physical or sexual abuse. There is a real fact - All relationships are not unhealthy in the begining, but becomes so overtime.

Making a relationship to work always involves compromises from both persons. But if you are the only one bending down & compromising, its a danger alert for you. The emotional hurt happens when your partner throws things around the room (you like clealiness), your partner starts dictating how I should dress. No one can live without being him/herself. Relationship is a equation which helps both the members to grow healthy. When the dictating behavious comes in between the two members, the relationship cannot continue far.

There shouldn't be emotional blackmails in your relationships. "If you are not dressing up like this, I'm leaving" or "If you are going to continue your job, I will suicide", etc. Such emotional blackmails makes the other partner emotionally weak, nervous, stressed and left out of the relationship bond. Such situations should be stopped as soon as possible. Discuss on the issue, be strong to put forward your points & reasons, take out some conclusions. Conclusions of the fights are most important. That doesn't means, one is winner and otherone is loser. Once the conclusion is understood to both and agreed upon, both are the winners.

Its better to comeout of your unhealthy relationship as soon as possible. You should consult your parent/guardian, common friend, consellor, pschycologist or common trusted person. Talk about why you feel its a unhealthy relationship, what the other person is duing which makes you loose your temper. Its always help to talk out seperately and then together and then lay down some safe plan to implement. Leaving unhealthy relationship for long will endup your relationship forever.
