Self-management means, managing a sense of balance (balancing action with relaxation, work with home, head with heart, work in office, schedules & meetings etc). Self-management is a science that helps one to attain knowledge & skills for one’s own self. Rather than managing subordinates or work at office, its very important to manage yourself.
