There are various fruits, which are rich in antioxidants, vitamins, potassium, fiber, and proteins. These fruits have got special type of chemicals, which kill the cells, those leads to various diseases.
-- Apples: Contains pectin fibre. It help reduce blood cholesterol and possibly prevent cancer. People taking high doses of antioxidants from apples, tends to live longer and have less heart disease. A known saying goes with it "One Apple A Day, Keeps The Doctor Away".
-- Grapes: Contains anti-cancer chemical quercetin. Deep-colored grapes and purple grape juice have been found to thin the blood, discouraging clots that help clog arteries, triggering heart attacks and strokes.
-- Berries: Strawberries and raspberries are packed with anti-cancer compounds. Cranberries and blueberries help fight bacteria that cause urinary tract infections.
-- Banana: High in potassium, B6, fiber which helps to treat and prevent ulcers.
-- Citrus Fruits: Orange is full of anti-cancer chemicals, including vitamin C, according to the National Cancer Institute. Grapefruit pulp contains a unique fiber that may help retard and even reverse clogging of arteries.
-- Melons: Rich in beta carotene, to help boost immunity and lower the risk of cancer and heart disease. Watermelon, has the most antioxidant lycopene, linked to lower cancer rates. Watermelon also help quench the inflammation that contributes to conditions like asthma, artherosclerosis, diabetes, colon cancer and arthritis.
